Polish contemporary artist Igor Dobrowolski is internationally acclaimed for his powerful and emotionally resonant works that explore the human condition, trauma, and hope. His celebrated Gold Relief Series—hand-cast aluminum sculptures with golden surfaces—juxtapose luxury with fragility, transforming gold from a symbol of wealth into a medium of emotional introspection.
Each relief, meticulously crafted, presents silence as a language, inviting reflection on themes such as loneliness, spiritual voids, and social injustice. Dobrowolski’s works have been exhibited in major art hubs including London, Paris, Berlin, and New York. His collectors include international celebrities such as Channing Tatum, Gigi Hadid, and Nicole Scherzinger. One of his gold reliefs recently fetched over 680,000 NTD in a major European charity auction, ranking among the highest prices for a living artist that evening.
This November, Gin Huang Gallery is proud to present Dobrowolski’s debut solo exhibition in Taiwan at the 2025 Taipei International Financial Expo, featuring his latest gold relief sculptures. The artist will be present in person for a special limited edition print signing event, with only 30 signed prints available to early participants.
