Ocula is an influential online platform that has been cooperating closely with diverse international art fairs such as Art Basel, Taipei Dangdai, Frieze Art Fair, FIAC, The Armory Show, etc. Ocula has, as do all of the top international art fairs, a holistic admissions process of gallery membership to ensure the highest standards. Only when a gallery is admitted by the selection committee will it be able to enjoy a wide range of membership benefits, including presenting gallery profile and showcasing artwork on the Ocula Gallery platform. Currently, only 174 galleries in the world have been selected as members of Ocula.
Most of the members of Ocula are the regular participants in Art Basal, including Galerie Perrotin, Gagosian, Lisson Gallery, David Zwirner, Pace Gallery, Blum & Poe, etc.
In recent years, GIN HUANG Gallery has been actively involved in the art platforms overseas and promoting the visibility of our artists in international markets. Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year we continuously explore more global opportunities in the art market. We had also relocated our physical art space from Taipei to Taichung at the end of 2019 right before the coronavirus outbreak. Besides the fact that the gallery’s new location is more easily accessible for our art collector friends, the fresh environment brings our staff together and provides an inspiring workspace for the team to achieve the goals. Until now, GIN HUANG Gallery has established connections with several art platforms, some of which are based in New York, Hong Kong, and London. We are looking forward to advancing our operational systems by collaborating with these leading platforms in the near future. So what’s next? GIN HUANG Gallery will see you on Ocula soon.
