Co-declaration from Artsy and Artsy’s partner, Gin Huang Gallery：

Hi there,

GIN HUANG Gallery remittance account ONLY IN TAIWAN! 

I’m following up on our August 17th email about your inquiry with Gin Huang Gallery. As you might remember, a bad actor impersonated the gallery in email communications with some collectors.

It came to our attention that the bad actor has since sent additional messages that look like they are coming from a gallery employee. They are using the false email address, “Ginnhuanggallery@gmail.com"

To ensure your security, we wanted to bring this to your attention so you can verify who you’re corresponding with moving forward. We recommend the following next steps:

☞If you’ve received any message and invoice from the scam email, “Ginnhuanggallery@gmail.com", please do not trust it and report to “ trust@artsy.net ”.

☞In view of the fact that the scam email is too similar to be easily distinguished by collectors. Therefore, Gin Huang Gallery no longer use ginhuanggallery@gmail.com reply to customer's inquiry from August 15, 2020, at 18:00 PM (GMT+8)

☞Visit Artsy’s partner, Gin Huang Gallery: https://www.artsy.net/gin-huang-gallery , inquiry service only for Artsy client: vip-service@ginhuanggallery.com or verify with Gin Huang Gallery directly by emailing “ info@ginhuanggallery.com “, copied, for more information.

☞Block the false email address “Ginnhuanggallery@gmail.com"  with your email provider to prevent further communications.

☞Never share your personal information (such as date of birth or credit card details, etc.) via email.

☞Always ask the gallery to confirm wire details using 2 methods (i.e. encrypted invoice and the phone number listed above.)

☞In an overabundance of caution we recommend applying the following best practices: regularly change your Artsy password, as well as your mailbox passwords; do not use easy-to-guess passwords; and use unique passwords for each website or online service.
