Graduated from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, Na Wei received his BFA and MFA in 2006 and 2009. As an ethnic minority, he chooses the form of carpets as a cultural symbol, through creative ways of using extruded pigments to create an illusion of a \u201cfilamentous color blanket\u201d.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><font color=\"#636363\">         <\/font><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><font color=\"#636363\">         <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"col-md-4\" style=\"line-height: 2;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><font color=\"#636363\">             <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\" style=\"line-height: 2;\"><font color=\"#636363\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The delicate patterns are created with infinite microscopic threads of oil paint that have been squeezed onto the canvas, purposely disrupts viewer\u2019s sensory experience, providing audience a new perspective to \u201cre-examine the existing life.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\" style=\"line-height: 2;\"><font color=\"#636363\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><span style=\"color: rgb(99, 99, 99); font-size: 14px;\">Na Wei is now living and working as a full time artist in Beijing.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(99, 99, 99); font-size: 14px;\">Currently lives and works in Beijing as a professional artist.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Born in a small city of Northern China named An Shan, Liaoning in 1982, an important city for the output of steel.
