Polish contemporary artist Igor Dobrowolski achieved remarkable success at the 2024 TOP CHARITY auction in Warsaw, where a work from his Tyrannical Side series was sold for 850,000 PLN (approximately \u20ac200,000), making it one of the highest-priced works by a living artist at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organized by the OmenaArt Foundation, the auction took place at the historic Wilan\u00f3w Palace, drawing nearly 500 prominent guests from across Europe \u2014 including collectors, entrepreneurs, and cultural figures. The event raised over 47.72 million PLN (around $11.5 million USD), establishing itself as one of the largest charity art auctions in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Active internationally since 2014, Dobrowolski is known for his emotionally charged, monochromatic works that merge painting, sculpture, and metal relief. His practice addresses themes such as war, poverty, and social injustice, always grounded in the belief of \u201cfinding hope through sorrow.\u201d His works have been collected by global celebrities including Gigi Hadid and Channing Tatum, and exhibited in cities like Miami, London, Berlin, and across Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceeds from the TOP CHARITY auction support educational programs for children in Poland and Africa, as well as mental health assistance for refugees and investments in public cultural development. More than just an auction, this event is a meaningful act of social responsibility \u2014 and Dobrowolski\u2019s participation once again affirms the power of art to inspire change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
